About the Course

Many people understand the effectiveness of prayer through their own experience. Prayers, or chanted meditations, are special methods for purifying negativity, accumulating merit and receiving blessings. They are one of the best methods to solve our own and others’ problems, and are a powerful preparation for meditation.

In this course Gen Tonglam will explain:

What is the nature and purpose of prayer?

To whom are we praying?

How to pray and increase the power of our prayers?

How to integrate a mind of prayer with even the most mundane activities, such as eating, walking and sleeping?

Understanding these will increase our confidence that our prayers will work. When we become more familiar with praying, we will begin to respond to the difficult situations and problems in our life with prayers, instead of anxiety and other bad habits of mind.

Everybody welcome.
