The Teachers

Gen Kelsang Tonglam is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism for East Asia and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Gen Tonglam has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over twenty years. He is renowned for his ability to present Buddha’s most profound teachings in simple and most practical ways, injecting a renewed enthusiasm and driving force in our ordinary life.

Katy Ellison has been studying Dharma under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over ten years. She worked in the finance industry for many years and is now a full-time mother of two children. She has found new meaning in life by integrating Buddha’s teaching in her busy life.

Marie-Line Dupont moved to HK and joined KMC HK classes since 2011, she finds the meditation practices useful in helping to cope with her life in family and work.
