About the Course

Introduction to Buddhism – ancient wisdom for the modern world

Tuesdays  11:00am – 12:15pm

Buddha travelled a path of self-discovery to deep peace and contentment. For thousands of years others have followed in his footsteps and found the same stillness within. This course will look the insights he gained help us navigate a positive path through the challenges of our modern lives.

Everyone is welcome to attend these classes. No booking required. Whilst part of a course, each individual class is self-contained so you can join at any time.

Donation is appreciated. Suggested Donation : HK $50 – $100 each class.

All donations are used to run and develop the Centre and spread Buddha’s precious teachings. 

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Tonglam is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism for East Asia and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Gen Tonglam has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over twenty years. He is renowned for his ability to present Buddha’s most profound teachings in simple and most practical ways, injecting a renewed enthusiasm and driving force in our ordinary life.
