To remove this ignorance, Buddha taught us the wisdom of the Middle Way. Through contemplating and meditating on this wisdom, we will come to understand what actually exists and what does not exist. In this way, we will be able to reduce and finally cease our self-grasping completely.

Gen Tonglam will share the precious teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, guiding us on how modern Kadampa practitioners can practice the Middle Way in their daily lives. After receiving the teachings, we will have the opportunity to participate in a meditation retreat to deepen our Dharma experience. This will enable us to gradually abandon our ignorance and embark on a journey toward the ultimate happiness of full enlightenment.

25/8

Form is Empty

1/9

Emptiness is Form

8/9

The Union of the Two Truths

15/9

The Middle Way

Teachings in English.

Booking is required.

* Fee: $320 for 4 classes or $80 per class
(KMC HK’s Teacher Training Programme & Foundation Programme students – $200 for 4 classes)

Part 2 – Silent Meditation Retreat

Please note : Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong reserves the right to carry out photography and filming during classes and events for future promotion and record purpose.

All fees are used to run the Centre and flourish the precious teachings of Buddha.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Tonglam is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism for East Asia and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong.

Gen Tonglam has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years.
