About the Course

Meditation allows us to find peace and happiness in everyday life, no matter our circumstances. By learning the art of meditation through Buddha’s teachings, children can be nourished by its immeasurable benefits and learn how to cultivate a truly joyful mind early on in life. These classes include a fun range of activities for kids to learn from such as teachings, guided meditations, discussions, storytelling, and artwork.

Suitable for children at age 6-10. Children need to be accompanied by parents. No booking required. Donations are welcome. Suggested donation: $80 each class.

All donations are used to run and develop the Centre and spread Buddha’s precious teachings.

The Teachers

Daleena Samara is our Dharma for Kids teacher. She is a mum and loves children. She has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 5 years.



Huang Ping made Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong her spiritual home since 2013. She cherishes Kadam Dharma as it has brought warmth and harmony to her relationships, and provided a clear direction for her life.



Kelsang Tumo has been meditating and studying Kadam Dharma for nine years, first in the Brazil now in Hong Kong. She is currently working as a middle-school teacher. In her teaching, she tries to bring what she has learnt from those experiences to life in a clear and practical way.
