About the Course

The New Year is a very auspicious time of the year, especially for making connection with Buddha Amitayus who is the Buddha of long life, merit and wisdom.

During this weekend, Gen Tonglam will guide us through the essential teachings and meditations on the practice of “The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus”. Through engaging in this practice, we can strengthen our connection with Buddha Amitayus, increase our lifespan and wisdom and accumulate lots of merits.

Let’s increase our inner wealth together in the New Year.

Wishfulfilling Jewel Tsog Puja (FB live) 5pm – 6.10pm
21 February (Sunday) Session 1 9am – 10.30am
Session 2 11.30am – 1.00pm
Session 3 2.30pm – 4pm

Teachings and guided meditations will be conducted in Cantonese with English translation. Prayer will be chanted in Mandarin. If you book English translation, prayer will be chanted in English.

Retreat Fee: $100

During the retreat, we will use “The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus” prayer booklet.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Tonglam is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism for East Asia and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong and Kadampa Meditation Centre Taiwan.

Gen Tonglam has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 25 years. He is renowned for his ability to present Buddha’s most profound teachings in simple and most practical ways, injecting a renewed enthusiasm and driving force in our ordinary life.
