Join us for the most auspicious and first ever close retreat using the precious name mantra of our Root Guru, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. We will collect 100,000 recitations of Venerable Geshe-la’s name mantra. Together we will offer our faith and draw closer and closer to our Root Guru. We will receive powerful blessings and create the causes never to be separated from Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka. The benefits of this retreat, both personally and for the flourishing of Kadam Dharma, are unsurpassed. The retreat will conclude with a group Vajradaka burning offering on 17-19 February.
During the weekend course, Gen Tonglam will share with us the teachings on the precious prayer “Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples” given by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, our Mother Centre in the UK. He will guide us on how to live as a faithful modern Kadampa disciple and also provide commentary to the close retreat.
If you plan to engage in the close retreat, we strongly encourage you to attend the weekend course so that you are clear about the instructions.
During the retreat, we will use “The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra” and “Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples” prayer booklets. Please kindly bring your own copy. You can purchase at the Centre if you wish.
