Art & Meditation Workshop with Gen Kelsang Tonglam and Kadampa Teacher Rosita Leung

“Though rooted in the mud, a lotus rises yet remain unstained.”
Learn about one of Eight Auspicious Signs — the Lotus which symbolizes purity. By quietly capturing its pure natural beauty, we are led to rediscover the true nature of the mind, immaculate and clear. Embark on a creative journey and enjoy the purity of our mind and actions.
During this course, you will receive brief teaching and guided meditation and also learn techniques for creating purity compositions:
– Ways to express peace and serenity through color and texture
– Inspiration drawn from Buddhist philosophy and symbolism

Teaching in Cantonese with English translation.
You can take home your masterpiece on a canvas panel. This is a popular event, please book early. Fee: $150

All course fees are used to run and develop the Centre and spread Buddha’s precious teachings.
