Melodious Drum Victorious in All Directions Puja with Gen Kelsang Tonglam
Sunday 29 June 3:00pm – 6:30pm
Everyone Welcome!
“Even though you display the manner of a fearsome being
Amidst a mass of turbulent, blazing fire
You never move even slightly from the peaceful state of love and compassion;
O Extraordinary supreme wonder, to you we offer praise.”
“Merely by our remembering you, you perform the four actions
To dispel all outer, inner, and secret obstacles;
O Great Dharma Protector together with your retinues,
Powerful five lineages of Dorje Shugden, to you I prostrate.”
Once a month at KMC HK, we engage in the Melodious Drum puja to fulfill our commitment to rely upon the Dharma Protector and to practise Lamrim, Lojong and Mahamudra, and for restoring any degenerate or broken commitments.
A Dharma Protector is an emanation of a Buddha or a Bodhisattva whose main functions are to avert the inner and outer obstacles that prevent practitioners from gaining spiritual realizations, and to arrange all the necessary conditions for their practice.
Dorje Shugden is the Dharma Protector of modern Kadampa Buddhists. In this commentary Gen Tonglam will explain Dorje Shugden’s special qualities, how to maintain a constant connection with him and the essence of this extensive practice.
Commentary teaching in Cantonese with English translation.
Commentary Enrolment Deadline: 28 June (Saturday)
