About the Course
Finding Meaning and Joy: Refuge Vow Ceremony & Commentary to the Liberating Prayer (part 2)
One of the main practices at Kadampa Meditation Centres is the recitation and contemplation of the Liberating Prayer. This praise to Buddha Shakyamuni, composed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche directly for us, is a profound exploration of the nature of enlightenment that greatly inspires us on our own spiritual path.
With a special wish to enter the gateway to Buddhadharma, we take the Refuge vows and commit to finding happiness from within by relying upon Buddha, Dharma and Sangha purely throughout our life.
On this special day, Gen Tonglam will teach us how to embark on the spiritual journey with confidence and joy based on the Liberating Prayer. We also have the precious opportunity to engage in the powerful and immensely meaningful Refuge Vow Ceremony in the company of the sangha community and the blessed environment.
Everyone Welcome.
There will be an unguided Refuge Retreat from 16 – 21 May to deepen our personal experience of refuge and inner protection and therefore enhancing our progress along the path to supreme happiness. No booking required.
Teaching in Cantonese with Mandarin & English translation.
