Buddhist Mantra and Mala Making Workshop with Kadampa Teacher Dianna Lau and Catherine Lau

Mantra is a Sanskrit word, literally meaning `mind protection’. A Buddhist mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations.

For Buddhist practitioners, their mala is a very precious and meaningful object. During this special workshop, you will learn the traditional Buddhist art of making a mala, and how to use it in the practice of mantra recitation to improve your mental peace and to bring benefit to others.

2:00 – 2:30pm Introduction to mantras and mala
2:30 – 4:30pm Making your mala

Teaching in Cantonese with English translation.

Maximum : 12 people. This is a popular class so please book early.

Material fee : $150 per person. You can keep the mala that you made.
